1SQ Therapy

There are two sides to the training equation, the stimulus (work / training / practice) and the improved capacity (recovery). Whether discussing team practices or athletic training, the realities are the same; if you train you must recover from it to receive the full benefits of your training. You must always remember it is not difficult to fatigue an athlete, but it is challenging to continually make them better and improve their abilities.

ATHLETES NATION is focused on the whole athlete and has partnered with leading therapy providers who are able to support an athlete's recovery both physically and mentally.

Active Life Centre has a excellent long-standing reputation in providing their clients with the highest level of Massage Therapy Care. They presently have 9 highly-skilled Massage Therapists that provide Therapeutic, Deep Tissue and Relaxation Massage to suit each individual's needs.

The Active Life Centre has entered into a partnership with the Canadian Sport Centre Calgary (CSCC) to provide massage therapy to Olympic and Paralympic athletes from the Edmonton area. Their common objective is to provide every athlete that they treat with the highest level of massage therapy care possible. It is their hope that local athletes will recognize the atmosphere of excellence that they regularly provide at Active Life Centre.

Champion Chiropractic is focused on treating and restoring patients to pre-injury condition in a small amount of time. Their patients range from elite athletes from the NHL,CFL, MLB, Olympic and amateur levels, to everyday individuals from infants to seniors. They pride themselves on treating not only structural mal-alignments but also the soft tissues that attach to the structure as well as give the patient the proper exercise/stretching programs so that the condition is less likely to reoccur.
