Turner Elson

Turner started playing hockey when he was three in Vancouver. After playing in Burnaby's winter club for three years he then moved to Bon Accord and played for the CNN Spurs. Another move found Turner in Seattle playing with boys four years older than him but continued to compete at a high-level earning the 2nd most points on the team. That summer he played for the Vancouver Vipers and travelled across Canada competing in tournaments such as the Brick Invitational.

Finally coming to rest in St. Albert, Turner has played the majority of his hockey as part of the St. Albert Minor Hockey Association. From Atom up to this past year as the Captain of St. Albert's Midget AAA team Turner has been an exceptional player on the ice and a dedicated athlete off the ice.

Turner was one of five recipients of the Nature's Sunshine Scholarship awarded in 2009.
